An exclusive week long journey to the heart of the verdant and tropical Kerala in southern India. Kerala is a stunning area, and whilst it has a real sense of exotic India, its pace remains relatively calm and relaxed. This emtive and exciting photography tour, led by Jonathan Chritchley, takes in some of the most amazing scenery, from the fishing nets and fisherman of Kochi to the tea-planted slopes on Munnar, the houseboats and fishermen of Alleppey and the lakes and waterways of Periyar. Whilst, like most Chritchley tours, there will be an abundance of unbelievable water locations for those looking for the more minimalist style of photography, there will also be some very cultural events to experience and shoot; the workers in the tea plantations, a traditional dance performance, a couple of private shoots with the fishermen, and of course the local people going about their daily lives as we shoot the lakes and waterways from our private boat. The accommodation will be sublime, as you would expect, with top hotels along the way, with even a night aboard a very beautiful, and very comfortable, luxury houseboat.
